Assisting the project coordinators in reporting on the status and progress of the projects to the European Commission. Providing support on day-to-day basis for the smooth running of the projects such as organizing project meetings and telephone conference calls, including establishing the agenda of these meetings and writing minutes. Gathering material from the project partners as part of the project reporting process. Maintaining the repository of important documents for the project. Maintaining frequent contacts with other services at CERN, project partners and the European Commission. Please notice that you will have occasional overnight travel within Europe. Higher technical diploma in the field of administration, or equivalent. Knowledge of European Commission projects' organisation and associated procedures. Solid professional experience in an administrative service or secretariat, preferably in a scientific organization, university or industry. Secretarial service: good knowledge of administrative tasks and secretarial work, including the organisation of project meetings. Customer service. Minute writing. Use of Office software packages: Ms Office. Demonstrating accountability: maintaining confidentiality; presenting information accurately and objectively. Achieving results: having a structured and organised approach towards work; being able to set priorities and plan tasks with results in mind.
