MAIN PURPOSE The E-Commerce Director will lead the E-commerce strategy, its implementation and drive Omni Channel innovation and will have ownership and responsibility of the websites, mobile apps and in store digital apps. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Setting E-commerce strategy and consolidating the P&L for the online Channels on a global basis – deliver all KPI, notably revenue, profit, customer growth and satisfaction; Enhancing the customer experience to ultimately improve online conversion through customer insight & analytics; Developing online conversion through a personalized customer centric / Omni channel approach and innovative customer acquisition methods; Providing commercial guidance to optimize conversion rate & customer acquisition while ensuring profitable growth; Look for opportunities to maximize on-line sales through effective partnerships with Brand, Retail, Commercial and third parties; Work closely with the Clients, Networks, Marketing & Communication Departments, as well as the business partners to ensure the Maison delivers one consistent, aspiration voice/look across all channels and leverages existing core investments ; Leading websites and mobile apps into a differentiated luxury e-tailer which reflects the uniqueness and core values of the Maison ; Management of the E-commerce team in Geneva and work with the E-commerce teams in subsidiaries; Define E-commerce global strategy and provide guidance to in-country E-commerce teams, ensuring consistency across the group in all E-commerce related marketing activities. Coordinate the launch of e-commerce sites in new markets; Web/Digital architecture and commercial initiatives will be a shared responsibility of the E-commerce Director with an internal business partner; Operate with the organization to get buy-in from all key stakeholders (be the digital expert within the business) and present the E-commerce strategy and 3 year plan to the board of the Maison on an annual basis. The E-Commerce Director will be involved with a variety of exciting projects which will help determine the strategic direction for future operations, including the development of the Omni Channel strategy and roadmap, leading the Omni Channel program and the transition to a full Omni Chanel business model. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE He/She must have previous experience gained in online acquisition (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display, etc.), retention (E-CRM, Social Media, etc.), Conversion (E-commerce/trading, etc.) and optimization (testing, funnel analytics). A previous experience in managing an E-commerce project within a Digital pure player would be a plus. At least 15 years of experience in the digital field.
