Job Description 10540.Software Developer 4 - IC4 Preferred Qualifications The Identity Cloud Services group is looking for an exceptional Server Lead/Principal Member of Technical Staff to lead the Cloud design and framework development for the Identity Cloud Services (IDCS) offering. The Team and Product Identity Cloud Service is the strategic focus for Oracle. Identity Management is already part of the cloud infrastructure for Oracle Public Cloud. We now want to provide Identity Management as a cloud Service enabling our customers to have a seamless Single Sign On experience managing their users and applications. We also build Cloud Services for Stronger Authentication Mechanisms (Multi-Factor Authentication) that will support integration with a number of business applications and enterprise servers. In addition to this, we extend the Mobile Security Suite offering to cloud service as well. Our Identity Cloud Service platform and service are built from the ground up using the solid cloud services architectural principles. The Role We are seeking a highly accomplished software professional who can be part of the “Identity Cloud Services” software development team. If you are self-driven and have a great combination of coding skills, design skills and communication skills and have been part of large enterprise class software product development teams on Java/JEE, Cloud and Mobile, have worked on development of services deployed on the popular Cloud platforms like Oracle Public Cloud, then this position is definitely a fit for you. Candidates will be responsible for leading the design, and implementation of the new Identity Cloud Services. You will be coordinating on architectural and design approaches with other architects as well as consulting and principal members of technical staff across locations. Additionally, you will also be involved in training and mentoring team members, other cloud services team and customers. Note this is an individual contributor role with no direct reporting of any team or individuals. About the Successful Candidate The successful candidate is self-motivated progressive software professional, with around 10+ years of industry experience, who can deal with complex problems and provide technical solutions, keeping in mind the needs of highly scalable, performant, resilient cloud services which in real time is expected to be used by millions of consumers. He/She should have had prior experience building Identity Cloud services like Multi-Factor Authentication service & Mobile Security Cloud service. Having sound knowledge of Mobile technologies like internals of iOS/Android Operation Systems, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Push Notification Servers and Device Management protocols is an added advantage. He should be having Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science. RESPONSIBILITIES: Working within a highly successful support organization, you will: Design and Develop new Identity and Access cloud services based on Java/JEE. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Contribute to the architecture, design and development of Oracle’s next-generation Integrated Cloud Identity Services. Work with Java Architects, Development Managers in requirements specification definition and detailed engineering analysis from data requirements perspective Do design reviews and code reviews for peers and team members Provide innovative ideas to enhance development process. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: We are seeking experience with the following technologies/domains: 10+ years of design and development experience in enterprise grade JEE application development with sound knowledge in Cloud development & Mobile Security.
