Job Function Summary We are looking to recruit a candidate to work as an Emerging Markets Quantitative Analyst in Geneva. The candidate should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and hard working. Principal Responsibilities The candidate would help strategize FX and FX derivative investment ideas, build detailed financial models, track news and relevant events, while working with the PM in an entrepreneurial environment. Qualifications/Skills Required Significant experience as an FX/ derivative researcher within G10 markets and Emerging Markets, in particular India (at least 8 years) Prior experience as an economist or strategist within G10 markets and Emerging Markets, in particular India (at least 8 years) Thorough understanding of macroeconomic drivers and their impact on currencies within G10 markets and Emerging Markets, in particular India Prior work experience at a major international bank and/or a hedge fund in the US (at least 8 years) Deep understanding of the G10 and Emerging Markets currency options markets and their drivers, in particular India Detailed understanding of exotic options (including vol swaps, fva's, binaries etc) and ability to build models and baskets using spreadsheets Extensive programming capacity in C++, SAS, MS-SQL and other computing languages Masters degree in finance field from a top tier US University Bachelors degree in engineering field from a top tier India University Perfect command of English as well as Marathi and/or Hindi
