Trade global Soybean with focus on non China trade flows, premiums and ocean freight Analyze markets including regional S/D's and strategic Trade Flows Organize and manage high seas shipping programs from worldwide origins to destination. Optimizing Vessel size and origin/destination/quality arbitrages in order to maximize global cash book Work with Cargill origins on logistical planning around the positioning of plants, ports, and inbound pipelines Work with destinations to discover and meet customer needs Assist with customer segmentation & strategy and relationship development Be responsible for all aspects of risk management of business transactions Be quick to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions by applying know how, high degree of urgency, and experience Supports and advises members of the global team on trading strategies Backup the senior trader and trading assistant Experience in Agriculture Supply Chain cash trading and cash program management with some basic ocean freight knowledge Has proven ability to work effectively both in a small integrated team as well as has skills to cooperate & provide good leadership/communication across multiple groups as part of a global product line Basic understanding of futures, spreads, options, and commodity derivatives Computer and organizational skills as relates to S/D analysis, logistics, p/l, etc. 3-5 years commodity trading experience including some grain or oilseed trading experience Able to develop and gather deep customer insight Good communication skill Good leadership skills relative to experience level with capacity to further build/expand Appetite for risk and strong desire to excel in a trading career Counterparty risk management knowledge and experience of payment terms and freight forwarding Proven customer experience, Global Agriculture market view and innovative and creative skills both proactive & problem solving Able to represent the company inside and outside
