As Electronics Technician in the LRF Section, you will be a member of the team responsible for testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of high power Radio Frequency amplifiers and accelerating cavities. Contribute to the design, construction, and maintenance of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and participate in their assembly and testing Assist in the consolidation of the RF systems, which involves design, development, operation, and upgrades to the existing Linac RF systems Participate in fault-finding and corrective interventions Take responsibility progressively for validation tests of new amplifier components and for the testing and maintenance of existing components Take part in organising the work of on-site subcontractors when needed Be part of the standby service for the Linac RF systems Higher technical diploma in the field of electronics, or equivalent This position is open to junior and senior professionals with a keen interest in developing their knowledge of high-power RF systems, analogue and digital electronics, and high voltage installations Commissioning, operation and maintenance of electronic and electro-mechanical systems Systematic fault finding in electronic systems Experience with radio frequency technology and/or microwave technology Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with any of the following areas: Radar systems,¿tube and/or solid state amplifiers High voltage equipment (1 - 100 kV) Power transistor technology Commissioning, maintenance and operation of power systems Commissioning, operation and maintenance of electronic systems Commissioning and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment Analog circuit testing and measurement techniques: using oscilloscopes and network analyzers English and French Work in radiation areas Interventions in underground installations Stand-by duty and work during nights, Sundays and official holidays
